Back Into Daylight relies on a small group of volunteers
Only 12% of total donations received by our charity come from regular monthly supporters. For that reason, it's very important for us to get as many individuals as possible involved in supporting our work.
Help cover food, bedding, vet bills, medicine, and the ongoing improvement of housing and fencing.

Here are different ways you can help our sanctuary
Make a Donation
Continuous funding is vital to ensure the wellbeing of our animals: food, bedding, vet bills, medicine and housing maintenance are our main ongoing expenses. Every single contribution directly protects a life.
Sponsor a Resident
Most of our residents stay with us forever and depend on us for a lifetime of care. You can make a huge difference by supporting one or more of our permanent residents through monthly sponsorship and receiving regular updates on their progress.
Fundraise for the Sanctuary
By organising an entry price event or one that simply encourages attendees to donate, you can raise essential funds for our animals. Host a quiz night, vegan potluck, bake sale, or take on a personal sporting challenge.
Purchase Supplies
We greatly appreciate donations of tangible items such as building and electrical tools, building materials, animal feed, carriers, toys, and hygiene products. Check our wishlist for current urgent shelter needs.
Volunteer
Volunteering typically involves physical work: cleaning, building, fencing, digging, and habitat care. We also warmly welcome help with veterinary care, fostering, photography, and event planning.
