Back Into Daylight relies on a small group of volunteers, and only 12% of total donations received by our charity come from regular monthly supporters. For that reason it’s very important for us to get as many individuals as possible involved in supporting our work.

Make a Donation
Continuous funding is vital to ensure the wellbeing of our animals: food, bedding, vet bills, medicine and improvement of their housing and fencing are our main ongoing expenses. Kindly consider supporting our cause by clicking on the “Donate” button below or by donating through Social Media. We deeply appreciate any contributions, large or small.
Sponsor a Resident
Most of our residents stay with us forever and depend on us for a lifetime of care. You can make a huge difference by supporting one or more of our permanent residents through sponsorship. As a token of gratitude, we will send you a Sponsor Certificate and keep you informed about our furry and feathery family. You can also visit your protégé at the sanctuary. Fundraise for the Sanctuary
By organising a fixed entry price event or one that simply encourages the attendees who can donate to contribute financially, you can raise very needed funds for our animals. Event ideas: raffle, quiz night, vegan potluck, movie screening, bake sale, class/workshop. You can also fundraise by taking a challenge such as a marathon or other sporting event not involving any animal use.
Purchase Supplies
We would greatly appreciate it if you could donate items such as building and electrical tools, building materials, animal feed, carriers, animal toys, hygiene products etc. You can visit our Amazon Wishlist below to find examples of items we need to care for our animals. Also, if you have a vehicle that you no longer want and would be happy to donate, we would be extremely grateful for that.
