About Us
At Back Into Daylight we create a safe and loving forever home for farmed and domestic animals in need. We also rehabilitate injured and sick wild animals and release them back into the wild. We promote a vegan philosophy and encourage people to speak out against the use and abuse of animals in the farming industry. By sharing the stories of our residents with the public, we strive to show people the incredible beauty, serenity and individuality of other animals.

Fundraise for the Sanctuary
Back Into Daylight relies on a small group of volunteers and private donors to care for all the animals. For that reason it’s really great when people can host individual fundraisers to help us.
There are many fantastic ways to fundraise, such as hosting a raffle, a vegan bake sale or a class; running a marathon or participating in any other sport challenge that doesn’t involve any animal use.
We are extremely grateful to people who fundraised for us in the past. All funds collected go directly to helping hundreds of animals in our care.

Our Residents
Get to know our beautiful animals and learn their unique stories. At the moment we care for over 600 animals: goats, pigs, cats, ducks, geese, dogs, pigeons, hens, cockerels, small birds and many more.

Worldwide, more than 70 billion land animals are killed for food every year. We run an outreach program to encourage people to end their part in any use and abuse of animals by refusing to buy and consume animal products.
